Will you copy a cake of an image that I send you?

No, I will not replicate another cake artists work but rather use any images that you send me as inspiration in designing your custom cake.

How do I place an order?

Please complete the following questionnaire and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

How can I make payment?

I accept cash and PayPal. Quotes are valid for 7 days and subject to availability. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to book your date and is due on acceptance of quote. Balance of payment is due no later than 1 week (7 calendar days) prior to your event for all celebration cakes.  Final payment for your wedding cake is required no later than four weeks before your delivery date. All dates are considered open until your non-refundable deposit is received. Payment is required in full for all orders booked less than two weeks out.

What happens if I need to cancel?

When placing your order a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required, this is not transfer to another order. If your event date must be postponed we will do our best to accommodate as long as your new event date is available, otherwise it will be considered a cancellation. In the unlikely event of an emergency, such as fire, flood, or severe illness, and your order must be canceled by Lulus Cake Art, we will return the full deposit paid by you in advance.

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

We recommend placing your order at least three weeks in advance for celebration cakes, and three months in advance for wedding cakes.

Sometimes we might be able to accommodate a cake at shorter notice depending on our schedule and the design of your cake and the availability of the date, so please contact us to discuss.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we do deliver and we highly recommend that deliver. If you would rather collect the cake yourself, place the cake on a flat surface, NOT your lap or car seat. Please avoid quick accelerations & abrupt stops. Once the cake has been collected I am not liable for any damage that may occur during transport & set up.

Do you make gluten/nut/dairy free cakes?
Unfortunately we do not offer any cakes that are free of allergens.

What is Icing Smiles?

Icing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. We understand that the simple things, like a birthday cake, are luxuries to a family battling illness. The goal is to create a custom cake for the ill child, or their sibling, that provides a temporary escape from worry and creates a positive memory during a difficult time. I am proud to be a Sugar Angel!
